NLB Cluster for Exchange 07 HT and CA roles installed on Windows Server 2003 Enterprise R2

hi,I have installed HT and CA roles on 2 different Virtual Machines.

my NLB cluster IP address 172.17.1.198 – email.test.com,

Exch01- HT and CA – Public/NIC1 – 172. 17.0.35,

Exch04- HT and CA – Public/NIC1 – 172.17.1.199 ,

My above IP address are in same range.

I’m able to access https://exch01/owa,https://exch01/owa and “https://exch04/owa,https://exch04/owa from my other PCs but not using https://email.test.com/owa“

My question is while configuring NLB cluster with 2 network cards Public(NIC1) and NLB(NIC2) resp. What IP addressing scheme we have to use for NLB cluster NIC2. Is it same as NIC1? If we will use another subnet how it will communicate with cluster IP address which is in the diffrent subnet. Please clarify with example?

NLB with CAS not working

We have set up Network Load Balancing (NLB) on two Hub Transport/Client Access servers.
(Windows Server 2008/Exchange Server 2007)

When we go directly to either of the nodes, we can access OWA just fine.

However, when we try to go to the new NLB cluster, by name or IP address, we get this:

The page cannot be displayed
The page you are looking for is currently unavailable.

The NLB cluster name and IP are in DNS; nslookup works fine and we can ping it by name and IP address.

What am I missing?

We have followed several articles to the letter. They all have the same information and do not indicate the need for any additional configuration once the cluster is set up. Is there any configuration needed in IIS (or anywhere else) for this?
