client mac addr error
Sounds like an operating system problem. Try booting it to safe mode. If it can boot to safe mode, uninstall the networking driver and see if that fixes it.

Ethernet Driver for Lenovo R400 for Windows server 2008
Hi It’s probably not working because it’s not compatible with Server 2008. The most likely driver to be compatible with Server 2008 is the Vista driver which you can download from the Lenovo site. http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70199 If the drivers aren’t working you could always get a little USB – Ethernet adaptor which are really cheap [...]

Losing Connection to Server – Why?
I would suggest putting Wireshark on a machine having this disconnect problem and start capturing traffic before the problem window and just after the problem window. Take a look at the traffic specifically things like DHCP renewals; server connection RSTs or FINs. Look at other broadcast traffic on the network and see if any [...]

Windows 2008 SSTP VPN trouble
Yes you can do it with 1 nic as long as your firewalls/routers supports VPN passthrough. The reason the guides you’ve seen specify 2 NICs is probably because they are geared towards a VPN server that’s also running DHCP etc. so you would want 1 NIC going to the Net and the VPN, and the [...]

how can i configure windows server 2003 so that to restrict users in my network from downloading files from the internet
I think you will need to use the server as proxy for all your users, and configure the policies on there. Software such as WebSense can configure this type of policy, but is quite expensive. Other people on here may know of cheaper alternatives. You will also need to configure your firewall, or Internet router, [...]

Routing Between Two Networks
Although I am not familiar with the devices in use, I would make an assumption that the NAT functionality of one of the firewalls is causing the problem you’re having. You would want to turn this functionality off on both devices if and only if you are not connecting to the Internet. Another option is [...]

DHCP server
Hello, However it is not recommended a best practice, a router on a stick is a possibility. Simply set the default gateway for the class A users to the router and secondarily-IP the router to communicate with the other subnet, or use a sub-interface if necessary. Ryan
