I’ve had to re-install Windows to fix problems like this before. You may also try it in a different computer. If that doesn’t work you may want to contact the vendor directly. Best of luck.
Sounds like an operating system problem. Try booting it to safe mode. If it can boot to safe mode, uninstall the networking driver and see if that fixes it.
Hi It’s probably not working because it’s not compatible with Server 2008. The most likely driver to be compatible with Server 2008 is the Vista driver which you can download from the Lenovo site. <a href=”http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70199″>http://www-307.ibm.com/pc/support/site.wss/document.do?lndocid=MIGR-70199</a> If the drivers aren’t working you could always get a little USB – Ethernet adaptor which are really cheap [...]
I would suggest putting <a href=”http://www.wireshark.org”>Wireshark</a> on a machine having this disconnect problem and start capturing traffic before the problem window and just after the problem window. Take a look at the traffic specifically things like DHCP renewals; server connection RSTs or FINs. Look at other broadcast traffic on the network and see if any [...]
First, you shouldn’t, second – if the host is properly configured, you can’t. Good luck ;o) Petko

You can find some of the questions related to router from the following links http://www.techinterviews.com/ccnacisco-admin-interview-questions http://www.devbistro.com/tech-interview-questions/Networking.jsp Cheers Yasir http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/network-technologies/
Yes you can do it with 1 nic as long as your firewalls/routers supports VPN passthrough. The reason the guides you’ve seen specify 2 NICs is probably because they are geared towards a VPN server that’s also running DHCP etc. so you would want 1 NIC going to the Net and the VPN, and the [...]
By copying do you mean migrating to a new domain? There really isn’t enough information to give a good answer. If you have multiple domain controllers in the same domain, you don’t have to copy anything…it’s all done for you. ———————————————————————————————————– You can go for LDFIDE or Volume Shadow copy… for more help check this [...]
For managing the ISP bandwidth you can use blue coat proxy device which works as proxy as well as its capable of managining the internet bandwidth. If you are looking for opensource Bandwidth monitoring software do look at my<a href=”http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/network-technologies/tag/cacti-guide/”> article</a> at ITKE Cheers Yasir
Make sure nothing is blocking TCP port 42. Try breaking the replication then stopping the WINS service on your PDC. Move the files from the Windowssystem32wins folder to a temp location. Restart the WINS service and the DB files will be recreated, then restart both your servers and set up the replication You could try [...]
I think you will need to use the server as proxy for all your users, and configure the policies on there. Software such as WebSense can configure this type of policy, but is quite expensive. Other people on here may know of cheaper alternatives. You will also need to configure your firewall, or Internet router, [...]
Although I am not familiar with the devices in use, I would make an assumption that the NAT functionality of one of the firewalls is causing the problem you’re having. You would want to turn this functionality off on both devices if and only if you are not connecting to the Internet. Another option is [...]
802.11g is an IEEE standard. It depends on whether the Neuf wifi router uses 802.11g. Most likely it will.
Hello, This one was difficult to find. It took a couple minutes in google, but this is what I found: http://www.ciscosystems.co.nz/en/US/docs/switches/datacenter/nexus5000/sw/configuration/guide/cli/BasicEthernet.html#wp1266618 Hope this helps… Ryan
Hello, This appears to be a common issue between these two specific devices. I might recommend trying to switch encryptions and hashes to see if that positively affects the issue or anything. Thanks! Ryan

Hello, However it is not recommended a best practice, a router on a stick is a possibility. Simply set the default gateway for the class A users to the router and secondarily-IP the router to communicate with the other subnet, or use a sub-interface if necessary. Ryan
Hello, Are you referring to business-wise, or? Cisco is a very strong organization as far as networking in general. They would have my vote. Ryan
Hello, Might I recommend the use of Dynamips? You can find many labs and it’s a great emulator for cisco devices. Best part, it’s all free! Thanks! Ryan
