Help with basic static IPv6 addresses please?
Hi Jonathan The 2002:-Adresses are 6to4 addresses, 6to4 being an automatic tunnelmechanism. I understand that when configuring static addresses you used the FD-Prefix. IP forwarding
You need to set up a dynamic to static IP address for which there are many free and low cost alternatives available like No-IP Dynamic DNS (http://www.no-ip.com), Dynamic DNS (www.dyndns.org) and even GoDaddy (www.godaddy.com) to name a few. All of the dynamic DNS providers will assist with setup instructions and technical support.

Is there a way to trace real ip address from linux/apache web server?
This might help a little, but, like all things in the Internet spamming world, there are ways around anything. There is a program called Visualware in which you can type in the IP address and it will show you the route it took and the final destination of where it came from, if it is [...]

Can iPhone apps be monitored on a network?
Short answer. Yes they can but it would require someone to go to ALOT of effort as every packet of data wold have to be snooped and collated correctly to get any deciferable information out it. It’s not something I would worry about unless I was working for MI5/6 or the CIA

client server app on local desktop in ncomputing environment
This is a bit complex question. Shortly I can answer this way: Each node needs at least connectivity tools. You are not saying what SQL Server version you use. In general however there is always required minimum. So you should use the setup and load minimum. Next depends on your requirements you need to make [...]

Windows XP virus Query!
I’ve found this approach helpful in many cases. Boot the machine in Safe Mode (w/NO network support) and log in as administrator. Then go to the folder(s) in question and take ownership, and force that change to propagate. Because the permissions can be tightly locked by some of these pests, you may have to do [...]

Spyware/trojan is getting on my last nerve i need help!!
A pretty good spyware/malware/virus remover is Spybot Search and Destroy. It’s free. Unfortunately, I would stress this: stay off the internet, don’t even have your wireless card or ethernet cable in your computer until the viruses are gone. They can do silent downloads and installs of other malware. Google Spybot Search and Destroy, download it, [...]

This sounds more like a hardware problem, or maybe faulty share settings. First, I would see if there is a diagnostic for the network card in computer Three. If it is a motherboard ethernet port, install a seperate PCI card and disable onboard. Also, test the cable going to computer Three with a cable tester. [...]
