access cisco switch 3560
Access it using a laptop or desktop computer with a serial cable. The cable should have a DB connector for the back of the computer and an RJ-45 connector at the other. The RJ-45 goes to the AUX port on the switch and the DB-9 goes to the PC. If it is not the AUX [...]

Oracle and the DBMS_LDAP package
It may have to do with the SSL connection being built or it may be an issue with a slow ISO stack. Anyway, since this question is almost eight years old, can we close it?

access restriction on my Linksys
It may be trying to hit an item on the list. If it matches no rule, the check falls through the bottom of the list. For security, this is a good thing. For a user, this can be bad. End the list with Allow 0.0.0.0 (or your local equivalent. This ensures non-blocked packets get through.

cant acquire a network address
Manually enter an IP address if DHCP is turned on. Turn on DHCP if it is turned off. DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) queries your Verizon router for an IP address. If DHCP is disabled, it doesn’t. Instead, it will use the hard-coded address someone left configured before you. Run IPCONFIG /ALL from the command [...]

iSeries AFPDS printing to an IP printer is not supporting images to IP printer.
You would need a printer with an IPDS card to print AFPDS pages. You can find several variations of IBM Infoprint printers that will fit your printing needs, but be aware the IPDS card is about $600 in addition to the cost of the printer. You can also go with IPDS emulation software to utilize [...]

Will NAT66 provide network address translation in IPv6?
Hi RFC 6296 defines IPv6-to-IPv6 Network Prefix Translation, which is basically NAT66. The difference to what we ususally do with NAT44 is that – as the name implies – it is a one to one mapping, not a one to many as in NAT44. The main rule and goal still is to avoid any form [...]

Change static default gateway
This is one of the reasons to use DHCP. You can change settings like this in bulk by modifying the options on DHCP ranges. If static addresses are required on your clients, you can use reservations and still make modifications like default gateway as needed. ——- The Netsh utility could help with that task, [...]

Dear NetworkingATE: Depends on whether you want to be a Windows server/desktop guy (MCSE, though you should probably get into the MCTS and MCITP series instead; Windows Server 2008 is getting kind of old and outmoded) or a networking infrastructure guy (CCNP). Both are good certs, and highly regarded by employers, so you should let [...]
