Configure the Listener on the oracle server with required details about MS Access server, the same procedure should be adopted for MS Access server. TNS Ping should be done to [...]

Just wondering only.. will VPN into your office network solve the problem?
you can use a variety of tools and scripts to accomplish this. Check here A;lso look at some of the powershell commands available.
You will need to find another host or hosts on the other side of your link where you can do multiple file upload/downloads. Try some of the linux image repositories and get some big ISO images. Note that you will be limited too by whatever size internet connection the destination system has.FTP is a good [...]
Yes the user will login with cached credentials. The user must have had a previously successful local login to have cached credentials on the system.
Try an online tool like MyIPTest or nwtools to lookup the addresses and see the whois information. It is possible the addresses belong to the same device or multiple devices. Since the devices may be mobile, they could get assigned a new address several times during the course of an hour, day, etc.

If you mean when you remote desktop to an XP client, it certainly will be evident. XP supports a single log on remotely out of the box so you can be logged on at the console or through remote desktop but not at the same time. If you RDP to an XP client it will [...]
Depends on the VPN connection, in theory you could do this with PPTP but IPSEC/Cisco VPN you could not do this as it fully takes over the adapter and routes all traffic through the vpn tunnel
Unless you have an internet routable block of 172.x.x.x your WAN and LAN IP address range appear to be reversed. (172.16.x.x – 172.31.x.x are in the private address space). Configuring LAN connection (internal) is section 2.1 Set your internal IP block to a private IP address block. Configuring WAN 3 is section 2.5 (You may [...]
sounds like a stale session, the fvs318 is a pretty horrible series of device, i assume this is the fvs318 v3 based on your firmware version what browser are you using? what os? if i recall the fvs318 devices had issues working with newer browsers (ie you had to use internet explorer 6)
It sounds like the users have a proxy server configured in their browser settings. That setting will need to be modified/removed when they go on the road.
this is what you need to do on the secondary routers disable DHCP, set a new ip for each router (192.168.1.2, and so on) and do not use the internet/wan ports use only the LAN ports, this will effectively make them work as switches and let you provide signal throughout your house
typically you cannot there are some devices out there such as the Junxion box which can use SOME air cards and share them as a wired or even a wireless connection. there are other solutions such as internet connection sharing though that rarely works and causes more of a headache
I dug and dug and dug…. but found nothing…. so I went back to my old school ways! I verified the network setup for another VMware virtual machine. I then compared it to my NT4_vm. I believe it should have installed an AMDpcNET NIC. The network card was not detected…. but hey, NT4 wasn’t plug [...]
If you have a home network, you should be able to share your printer through the computer it is connected to. So many things (like detailed instructions) would depend on your specific information. What operating system are you using, what type of printer, etc etc
For the points I have added the link in my Linux, OpenOffice.org and Open Source Software blog. ____________________________________________________________ Today’s Big Picture by Shillu13

Hi The answer to your question partially depends on who you are (home user, enterprise, ISP). Theoretically everything is possible. For an enterprise the question is, whether that is a good strategy in the long term. If you have an outsourced network and environment, it would obviously be your outsourcer’s job to take care of [...]
