On your local computer directory you have to give permissions for full access. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ DON’T GIVE YOUR USER FULL PERMISSIONS TO ANYTHING! The best way to do it is execute the scheduled task as the administrator. This means log into the bog as administrator, set up the scheduled task. Make sure to enter “Run as…” [...]

I’m not sure about wireless so hopefully someone else here can help. There is a <a href=”http://www.cdw.com/shop/products/default.aspx?EDC=326361″>parallel port sharing device </a>you can find at CDW.
The main issue with this is that the elevator shaft will block a lot of the signal. If you can get a maintenance man to get you into the shaft itself you could mount an access point in the shaft. Depending on how many floors you have it could be strong enough to bounce the [...]

A few suggestions on how to remove all traces of the Deterministic Network Enhancer (DNE)… Use the MS Installer CleanUp Utility http://support.microsoft.com/kb/290301 Go to Control PanelNetwork and Sharing Center “Manage Network Connections” -> properties of your network adapter If you see “Deterministic Network… ” then click on it and “uninstall” Look for and delete from [...]
Here’s a good article that looks like it will help address your question: <a href=”http://www.mcpressonline.com/programming/web-languages/when-are-web-services-right.html”>http://www.mcpressonline.com/programming/web-languages/when-are-web-services-right.html</a> And here are two others, that go over some ways to get started with web services on the i (previously AS/400). <a href=”http://www.mcpressonline.com/internet/general/web-services-for-the-traditional-rpg-programmer-part-i.html”>http://www.mcpressonline.com/internet/general/web-services-for-the-traditional-rpg-programmer-part-i.html</a> <a href=”http://www.mcpressonline.com/internet/general/web-services-for-the-traditional-programmer-part-ii.html”>http://www.mcpressonline.com/internet/general/web-services-for-the-traditional-programmer-part-ii.html</a> CWC
No.
The most probable cause is the firewall settings. If it doesn’t help, check your switch/router configuration and network settings on every PC (DHCP, file and printer sharing etc.). Use standard networking tools (ping et al.). When unable to find a solution, supply us with additional information about your network (topology, hardware, OSs) or redesign following [...]
Perhaps I am failing to connect the term, but what exactly do you mean by redundancy? If you are talking about having too many switches or access points, this can confuse a network, flooding it with duplicate traffic (an issue combated by STP). If you are talking about redundant arrays, then these could improve WLAN [...]
Here’s a <a href=”http://www.windowsitlibrary.com/Content/172/01/10.html”>classic answer from Mark Minasi</a>.
This is a pretty small implementation. You can likely get by with a Cisco 1800 Series gateway for VOIP, a 3750 POE 48 port switch. You will need some type of Callmanager solution to be able to route calls. Take a look at my <a href=”http://itknowledgeexchange.techtarget.com/it-trenches/voip-ipt-qos-cos-on-and-on-oh-my/”>blog entry</a> for other requirements for implementing VOIP.
Have your carrier check MTU (maximum transmission unit) across your links. We had the same problem with too small of an MTU and RDP would not work. Once the setting was changed the users were then able to RDP without issues.
You will need some type of gateway that can communicate with both systems. I would suggest working with either the Alcatel or Cisco resellers in your area to find a solution to this issue.
I see a couple of items: Server NIC to clients: IP Address 192.168.201.2 Subnet Mask 255.255.255.192 <b><- you have address space for 63 clients</b> Default Gateway <b><- Set this default gateway to the other NIC provided you have routing enabled on this server.</b> DHCP Server 192.168.201.2 <b><- not needed on this NIC as it should [...]
Archiving will allow for better indexing within the file, but as far as reducing the actual size of the box, it won’t dramatically reduce it. With a box that big i would simply go back a certain amount of time, explort into a pst and then have that archived so the most recent emails (and [...]
No, loosing your IP Address will not cause the network cable unplugged message. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++ Make sure the computers are on the network (same domain) and then check the TCP/IP subnet (properties under network connection). -Schmidtw
power off the unit, disconnect the device, power on the unit. power down the unit, replace the device, run new hardware wizard or open device manager and look for a question mark or new device, then reinstall the drivers. Hope this helps. -Schmidtw
Dear Sir: As an “aging baby boomer” (like myself: I’m 56) you will be at something of a disadvantage in the job market, mostly because employers prefer to hire people in their 30s and 40s (enough experience to be useful, still junior enough on the career path not to be too expensive). If you can [...]
The best way to answer this question is to look for salary surveys online. Microsoft and Cisco occasionally fund such things because of the popularity of their credentials, and you’ll also find annual cert-related salary surveys at Certification Magazine (www.certmag.com) and CertCities (www.certcities.com). My gut feel is that both MCSA and CCNA are considered entry-level [...]
