Where did the email really come from?
SPAMers will often say that they are in one country when they are actually in another country. SPAM is typically sent via a botnet made up of computers all over the internet, so the SPAM could pretty much be coming from any countery in the world. The person sending the SPAM could be in any [...]

DNS Pointers
The Domain Name System (DNS) is just a way to name your equipment so you don’t need to address everything by IP. Most applications can use both DNS and IP, so the answer depends on preference. If you don’t mind accessing things by IP address, then it doesn’t matter. If you need to access everything [...]

About router
You question is very difficult to understand, please try to be more specific so we can better answer your question. To answer: I’m quite certain your router can’t handle multiple DHCP…in which case getting both incoming lines to work and broadcast through one router is not going to happen. ================================================================================ hi, i think you are [...]

Hub, router and switch
Here’s a <a href=”http://www.lockergnome.com/blade/2006/11/24/what-are-the-differences-between-an-hub-switch-and-a-broadband-router/”>good answer</a> or <a href=”http://lowendmac.com/lowendpc/tech/network101.shtml”>here</a> for your question. A more detailed answer can be found <a href=”http://ezinearticles.com/?Computer-Network-Routers,-Hubs,-and-Switches&id=1878202″>here</a> A hub is typically the least expensive, least intelligent, and least complicated of the three. Its job is very simple: anything that comes in one port is sent out to the others. That’s it. Every [...]

To load balance on redundant links, you will need to coordinate this with your ISP. Because the settings need to match on both ends. Make sure both sides have CEF enabled. In configuration mode, type: IP CEF. And use IP LOAD-SHARING PER-PACKET on every interface you need this done on. The settings should match on [...]

How to track who amended a particular file
Hello, I believe you can use the “Track Changes” option in “Tools”, however, you would have needed to set this option in advance of the changes, of course. Hope this helps.

Cisco’s 2500 series router and WAN card serial interface differences
Both support speeds up to 2.048 Mbps. The interface on 2500 was built onto the motherboard, and it later started coming out as a module. WIC-1t is a module having one E1/T1 interface, and it is still available, but 2500 series Cisco routers are long withdrawn. Hope this helps.

Recommendation for handling wall phone plates in UTP cable installations
Ground loops occur when there is a difference in potential or a return path for a transient current. If the system is properly drained in at least one end (in the telecommunications room) any transient leaves via the bonding/earthing busbar and grid. As the metallic faceplate is not connected to earth, there would be no [...]
