How to connect leased line to two locations without router
Question for you. Do you just want to plug in from the wall to the switches and not use the modems? If so It will not work as the modems are working as a “network extender ” and that allows long distance data via your leased circit.

Will a BSc in Information Security get me a network security job?
If there are entry-level jobs in Infosec to be had–and they do come up occasionally from time to time–that’s about all a BSc in Information Security will get you, job-wise. But interestingly, there aren’t as many “entry-level” infosec positions as you might think. I’d urge you to also acquire a CISSP through their “Associate of [...]

Applying no IP route-cache on VLAN interfaces in a Layer 3 switch
This commands disables fast-switching on that interface. So fast switching is disabled on this interface and every time a packet arrives at this interface cache is not referred to. So with this command you achieve per-packet load balancing. However, this is slow as compared to when route-cache is enabled, resulting in per-destination load balancing. This [...]

How can I identify all network system hostnames through CMD?
When you talk about host names, I infer that you are talking about DNS names vs WINS (NetBIOS) names. Are you looking for the physical system name, CNAMEs, additional server principle names (somewhat rare) or NetBIOS alternate names? Utilities to check names in your providers are: nslookup – DNS names nblookup – NetBIOS names in [...]

Router configured one hop from PC with default gateway as IP address
Unless the devices are on the same subnet, the traffic would not flow if the default gateway is across another subnet. You can have multiple routers on a subnet as needed. The router in between would need to be configured with proxy ARP so that it can notify this PC that it is the proxy [...]

Efficiency differences between circuit switching and virtual switching
In circuit switching, circuits are dedicated between source and destination; whereas in virtual circuits or packet switching, they are not dedicated. Circuit switching is ideal when data must be transmitted quickly, must arrive in sequencing order and at a constant arrival rate. Therefore, when transmitting real time data, such as audio and video, circuit switching [...]

Determine Internet connection type from originating IP Adress
I don’t think you can tell internet connection type from the sender’s IP address. You can tell the ISP from the address and maybe then figure out if it is a cable, dsl or TDM type of connection. However, remember that emails can take several different hops before getting to your mailbox. The ISP could [...]
