How to connect leased line to two locations without router
Question for you. Do you just want to plug in from the wall to the switches and not use the modems? If so It will not work as the modems are working as a “network extender ” and that allows long distance data via your leased circit.

Windows 2000 Update Rollup1 and AS/400
I am not familiar with ROLLUP1 but it could be that your AS/400 file share is set up as read only. This is where I would start to diagnose the issue. Hope this helps. Lovemyi
