But after the execrise. i decided to do a ping to see the time it take to ping. <br/><br/> 1st i use a Cat6 and ping one of my server.  Below is the reply.<br/><br/> Reply from 192.168.x.x: bytes = 32 time = 57 TTL128<br/><br/> Reply from 192.168.x.x: bytes = 32 time = 35 TTL128<br/><br/> Reply from 192.168.x.x: bytes = 32 time = 35ms TTL128.<br/><br/> Later on I use the cat5 as  patch cable to connect to my pc and did a ping also. We trying to do some network quality  assessment in our organization , for that we choose NTttcp tool that comes from Microsoft , and started to do some test.<br />
looking at results of some test we done each test for 1 min approx  i can see few erros and retransmit , my question is how to interpret that data what should be consider amount of Errors &#038; Retransmit threshold for amount X time test or should not pear at all?.</p>
