Currently an organization i work for is looking at changing their network topology. They have a netgear fvx538 router as their core routing equipment and it also functions as the firewall. we are proposing using the cisco 3945 as the core router an asa 5510 as the firewall, the distribution switch would be the 3750 switch and the access layer switches can still be the netgear gsm 7328s since the switches are already on the network and to reduce the cost of buying all new 2960 switchws for the 7 floors. Are there any flaws to this topology or improvements or unforeseeable issues?

I have an access point running off router that is running off primar dsl modem/router. the access point provides wifi to guests on a different subnet.
will the people logged into the acesspoints ip be registered on the primary router ? or will the acess points ip be logged ?

I have a wireless LAN using ADSL. I have connected five pc’s with no problem but there is one (Vista) laptop that connects fine to the router but the ‘network map’ in the ‘network and sharing center’ shows a red cross between the router and the internet. Windows troubleshooter doesn’t fix the problem. Any help in where (and how) to look for a solution would be much appreciated.
