can not explore NAS server after reinstalling windows 7
Hi. I have a problem after reinstalling PC with Windows 7 Ultimate, I can’t explore NAS server (Buffalo). But ping in DOS command still works. It happened to 3 PCs. If you have any suggestion would be helpfull for me. Thanks.

Seagate Black Armor NAS 220 failed to be access/reconnect on Network map.
Where is the problem when DATADrive (Seagate Armor NAS 220) failed to be accessd on Network by all users?Have ping Router 192.168.1.1 which responded back good,internet works o.k but failed to reconnet to that mster Drive…The armor master Drive with address 192.169.1.2 failed ro reply ping test on all other users…Network cabled checked- O.K. How can I set up a NAS device on my network? Will the users access files directly on it? Do we need to set security here or will the device be an extension of one of my Windows servers using it’s security? What is common practice?

Suggestions for home storage solution
I work at home, and I often have files upwards of 4GB. Would a normal NAS FAT32 be adequate or do I need a NTFS because of file size? How is data recovery with NTFS if something happens to the NAS? Would I need to buy a GLAN? Any advice, including brands, is welcome.
