this is how i setup connection host with guest..</p>
<p>xp local area connection ip: 192.168.10.2<br />
default gateway                :  192.168.10.3<br />
loopback adaptor ip           :  192.168.10.3<br />
default gateway                :   192.168.10.5<br />
vmnet 1                             :   192.168.10.5<br />
default gateway               :    192.168.10.7<br />
guest os ip:                        :  192.168.10.7<br />
default gateway               :    192.168.10.2<br />
dns     : self ip<br />
please correct me if i set any thing wrong or any thing i need to do more&#8230;    used brigde networking&#8230; and rest all default connections&#8230;<br />
xp and vista both are in WORKGROUP..<br />
both systems ping each other.. so i assume these are in lan.. but non of these systems show each other in network place&#8230;. whats the problem&#8230; do they show only when set in domain group&#8230;.  some one please help me &#8230; i need to practise remote assistance&#8230;</p>
