Moving a virtual machine from one physical server to another
When an adminstraor wants to move a virtual machine from one physical virtualized server to another I assume he identifies both the “computer name” of the virtualized machine to be moved and the “computer name” of the virtualized physical server he wants the virtualized machine moved to. Moving Virtual Machines off and on server – VMware ESX 3.5
I have 3 virtual machines on 1 Dell Poweredge server that is running VMware ESX 3.5. I want to increase the storage space on this server so is it possible to move the VM’s off this server while i make the changes and reinstall ESX and add the VM’s back?
