Flashing Monitor and Slow CPU speed

Monitor does not display, power light keeps blinking
When i start my computer, the CPU starts and with its LEDS on. the keyboard also have the LEDs blink once. but the moniter does not start up, the display light just keeps blinking. i dont get any display on the screen

Have I made things worse? Bad display settings blinded me, loaded OS next to original to change settings, but how?
