would it not be easier to setup your hotmail account to directly forward to your blackberry instead of going to outlook then to the blackberry? If that is not possible then you should be able to create a rule that says any email being sent to johndoe@hotmail.com forward a copy to johndoe@blackberry.com. The hotmail address [...]
I’m not 100% positive, but I believe you can. I mean, Outlook on the blackberry is essentially the same Outlook as you have for your computer, so…as for how, I’m not sure…
it should be pretty straightforward. Steps: Install your new BES server making sure to use the same database. (That way they will be able to see each other) Move a couple of test devices to the new sever from the old and verify. Move ther other devices to the new server. Important notes: *The database [...]
A very simple solution is already there in Windows XP. When you go to the TCP/IP properties of your network connection, you have two tabs, General and Alternate Configuration. You can set the first connection as your static IP office connection, and the alternate configuration with the DHCP home connection. Hope this helps. You’ll actually [...]
A hosted solution will probably be easier for the actual sending of the SMS messages. I found this http://smseverywhere.com/developers.htm which is an API which you can use to send SMS messages in bulk from our own application. As for the sending of email, if it’s all internal emails I would setup Distribution lists, and build [...]
From what I can gather doing some quick research it is named after a Dane Harald Blatand (translated bluetooth) that was responsible for uniting Norway and Denmark when he was king. Known as a master communicator, they developers decided to name the technology after him. Now I say this with the caveat that if this [...]
I am guessing you are limiting use due to workstation location or something similar. If this is the case you could create Security groups for each area, (or group of PC’s) and change the PC’s so that the Local User group on each machine contains the new group created above. (remove the users from the [...]
Try SqlServerCE 2.0 or 3.0! any one of those. it is very easy to deploy and mantain rather than MS Access Database on Pocket PC and PDA,EDAs etc. Couple of years ago, I tried MS Access but i faced so many problems in my program. so I preferred SQLSERVER Compact Edition. builtin with VS 2005. [...]
You may want to review the links you provided. Some (for instance “What is the purpose of the OPEN command in RPG IV?” under the AS/400 tag) are not functioning. Others have answers in the discusssion section (though not in the answer section).
After each mail is sent, you can re-initialize the rich text field And the mail document using Delete to get rid of the existing object. Each entry into the loop should use New (or CreateXXX) to get a new object: For i = 1 To 6 Set maildoc = db.CreateDocument . . ‘Set subject, recipient [...]
I see this all the time in my office – do you use smtp/[pop? and if so are you also using a web mail client? This can reset the bit that says a message was downloaded or not. What is your mail server? Were you logging into the mail server from two seperate machines? This [...]
A lot depends on the server hardware and how many users are on your Domino servers. Have you met or exceeded the minimum requirments for server hardware? Are there more than 500 BB users? How many Domino mail users? Without knowing any of that, one thing that may help is to change the frequency of [...]
Can you ping the servers over the Wireless Card. This will more than likey be a VPN Firewall issue. Make sure you are able to route port 1352
They’re just different ways of accomplishing the same goal — calling a procedure. Loosely think of CALL PROCEDURE as being similiar to RPG’s CALLB — both specify right there in the CALL that a procedure is being called. If you had a *SRVPGM exporting the procedure SgnMax, which takes two integer const inputs and returns [...]
Make sure that your email is is being delivered to the right location, for the delivery location it should say something like, Mailbox-your nameInbox, and not Personal folder, if it says personal folders that is your problem. Also how is Outlook set up to retrieve your emails, Exchange, POP, IMAP? Hope this help. CG._ ###########Added [...]
iNotes is nothing more than the web based version of your current Lotus Notes Mail Box. You don’t know it but you have been using iNotes for years, only you have been hitting your mail with Lotus Notes and not the web. So the bigger part of your question is how do I get my [...]
The internal heat could have melted the antennae or caused the connector on the antennae to come loose from its terminal. I would open her up and check the connections. If that does not help I would go to the broadcom site and get updated drivers. If you create a new user on your machine [...]
You have to create that printer with your emulation session, so you are emulating BOTH a monitor and printer session. When you start emulation (Mocha?) that will activate a new device on the AS/400 (providing your admin has auto-create of devices enabled).
I use a 2 Gig SD card on my laptop as a ReadyBoost device and it does appear to help quite a bit. Removing unneeded applications from starting at boot will help any computer run faster no matter what operating system you run.
That isn’t a question. It’s a statement.
