I have been using this older version of Visio until I purchased a new computer with Vista. Can I install this older version with the help of a download or do I need to update. Thanks

Need to open network diagram

I am trying to view a NET file that was created by a separate organization using NetViz. As the NetViz product was sunsetted earlier this year, no new licenses are available for purchase.

I have attempted to open the document using Microsoft Visio, however when the diagram is exported from NetViz to Visio the document becomes too large (2GB) to open with the memory available. In order to avoid the size issue, we have exported smaller segments of the NetViz document to Visio. However, the .vdx file still produces an error upon trying to open. Other attempts have opened the document, but not in diagram form (unreadable in text form).

Is there another software product with the capability to view these NetVIz diagrams? My knowledge of both NetViz and Visio is very limited, so if there is also a way to format this document in order to view in Visio that would also be helpful.

Visio 2003 Standard – how to move the work area to the corner?

I’m working in VISIO 2003 Standard, flowchart. Wondering how to get the ruler to start at 0 instead of negative inches and then how to get the working area/pane into the corner of the screen instead of somewhere in the gray area so that I always have to move the screen to find it or reduce the size to find it. VERY annoying. PLEASE help!
