Hi all,
I have an InfoPath form in SharePoint 2007 that has dataconnections to SQL server DBs. I have a group of users that have been using them for the past few months with no problem. The permissions on the site have not changed but users can no longer access the Data connections. They get a “failed connection to data source” error popup with “work offline”, “try to connect” and “show details”. When I click on Show details it says the DC cannot access the query, “Access Denied”. After going around a few times I reset the Internet options back to defaults. this worked for 1 person but not all. They all have the same AD groups, and SharePoint rights.
I have a test user in SharePoint that has no rights and is a member of 1 group besides “Domain Users” I granted this user the same rights to the data connection library and the Forms library. He can open the form and the data conections work fine. The users that cannot access the DC are in the same groups as the test user, the SharePoint permissions are the same, some of the real users have more rights than the test users. The data connections are useing a SQL user to connect to the Databases. I can log in as the SQL user and read the tables the connectors read. If the issue was the SQL user no other user would be able to access either. these user have the same issue with data connectors that use integrated security.
This is really driving me crazy, any and all help is greatly appreciated.
TIA,
Joe

Hi, I send files from Access 2007 to Sharepoint 2007 daily. The first column of data in the Access file is a hyperlink, and appears as one(htt:…..). When I send the file to our Sharepoint sight I would like it to appear as an image of our logo in that field, instead of the url. The link is the same all the time, in the whole column. Is there a way to make this action automatic, instead of dealing with each cell individually, daily? Some files have several rows, and it is quite tedious. Please help. Cary A.

At present we are running a Windows 2008 Server which has Sharepoint 2007 installed and houses our exchange server. Apparently only the Express version of SQL server was installed initially and now the 4GB database limit is affecting our intranet.

Have been advised that we need to update to SQL Server 2008 and what I would like advice on is do we have to install SQL server 2005 first, then upgrade to SQL 2008? Can we still run Sharepoint 2007 and our Exchange system on the same server with the upgrade or would it be better to install the SQL 2008 on a new server?

As this is going to cost anything from AU$12K to AU$17K, which is alot for a not for profit organisation, I need to know the best solution.

Many thanks in advance for any information you can give.
