Possibly ur idea is right. Try change In OUTLOOK, there is a setting, something like “when you send emails with attachments” send them as “whatever”. Change the WHATEVER or uncheck it. On the security tab of an account properties click the advanced button. You can uncheck “inherit from the parent the permission entries that apply child objects”. Is that what you are trying to acheive?

how to run *.CMD files
In Windows Explorer double click on them, or from a dos prompt simply type the path and filename such as “C:PathToYourFile.cmd” and press enter (or change directories to that file and type the filename and press enter). Just type the command within the double quotes and then press the enter key on the keyboard.

If the data was corrupted on the original drive cloning it to another drive just clones over the corruption. So both would be bad as you are experiencing. Lesson is, back up all data and drives before things go bad.
