When using more than one HBA in your server, you need a filter driver to support path failover and load balancing Call your storage array vendor and ask them to supply you with their path management software. (IE: Secure path, Power Path, HDLM, MPIO, etc…) You should see the WWN of the HBA from the [...]
I don’t know if I’ve correctly understood your problem, but I think you can create a new UserControl (with ‘n’ textboxes) and then build a class inheriting from DataGridTextBoxColumn in order to put the above mentioned UserControl into the column. Anyway a good web link is: www.syncfusion.com/FAQ/Winforms/
Use the ISA server built-in report utility, where you can define different reports to be run on f.ex. daily and/or monthly basis. ISA server will supply you with a number of reports including the one that you want. Tip: Run the report generator under a separate service account and not with your own user account, [...]
I am not sure what you mean when you say moving the DNS services outside? The DNS servers you have setup now will need to remain active as AD will not work without the internal DNS service. I suspect you know that already, that is why I am confused as to what you are asking.
First off, check your default domain controller policy to sort out your incorrect SID. It’s most probably power users in the windows security settings. Static IPs won’t give you a problem unless you run DHCP as well and hand out the same IPs. Make sure subnet masks are correct. Your problem does look like an [...]
Marco, Havn’t done anything with linked servers myself, but came across the info below when looking for something else recently. Even if it doesn’t help you directly I think would be worth posting your problem to. http://blog.benjolo.com/archives/2003/08/27/mysql-mssql-linked-tables-or-just-kill-me-now/
The Web Facing function (5250 DDS to JSP) is a standard part of the WebSphere Design Studio Client. There is a great Redbook out on the process also as well as numerous books from 29th STreet press. This facility will easily handle all the conversion and JSP work for you without having to touch a [...]
I am more familar with the SNDNETSPLF command which has a DTAFMT parameter. The value *ALLDATA will retain all the attributes of the spool file except creation information. The user id and creation date/time are new because you are actually sending a created copy of the original spool file to a user on a target [...]
Hi Zaknafene, I just posted this question to a friend of mine working on Dataprotector. Below is his reply. As per the mail I understand that all the LTO 2 tapes have been scanned and formatted properly. I suggest to 1. Try taking a small backup instead of huge backup of 92 GB. Lets see [...]
First: do NOT convert the FAT partition to NTFS because the Compaq diagnostics won’t work. This partition is on the system drive but is not part of drive C: – it is a separate partition with no drive letter. No, you do not ‘have’ to have a FAT partition on the system drive but it [...]
cacls command can show you the NTFS permissions of files/folders.
Sorry Please take this Corrected question. We have 2 Windows 2003 Terminal Servers and both are part of load balance with a Single Virtual IP Address. For Eg 192.170.2.34 is virtual ip, and any User tries to connect to this ip address will be diverted to any one Server IP eg 192.170.2.33 or 192.170.2.32. accoring [...]
Cut and Paste is dealing with the file data at an entirely different level than copying. It all takes place INSIDE an application, and has NO connection to the file system itself. If you have any concerns with security, stop all “cut&paste” right now, and stick with file copies. You didn’t ask, but I’m going [...]
Very Scary. Internet Connection Sharing is based on having TWO network interface cards(NIC). First one being the normal IP address that connects to the “internet” (i.e. has a public address that can be routed). the second card is given a private adress (usually 192.168.1.1) and becomes the gateway for the other machines wishing to connect [...]
Re-install windows and and wait for the second prompt to repair current windows installation. This should overwrite your network components. Then you can get into the IP stack.
You probably have this information already, but, http://www.starquest.com/Supportdocs/techCA/chap3d.html Has some info about the cwbobj_REadsplf API. I am sorry i do not have experience with this. There were also hits on crtobj on www.search400.techtarget.com itself that might help.
When you say failover do you mean that in case your primary 720 fails, your intent is to “failover” to another 720? and as far as load balancing, are you trying to balance the traffic to the 720 through the two NICS?
Is this the only windows server on the network? Is there an individual or an application running some kind of reporting? There could be a number of issues that can cause this therefore I would need more information about your network.
The real problem isn’t acccr, it’s the service that has been installed that is regenerating the file. Install WinPatrol. (Freeware from the web.) Its display of the running services is easier to navigate than the Windows version. Then delete the odd-ball service. Also, Search your hard drive for all .exe files. Sort them by most [...]
In order to move objects from one domain to the other you can utilize the Active Directory Migration Tool. A temporary trust betwen the two forests/domains will need to be established in preparation. Once all of the objects are moved you can then remove the trust. In your case you can also simply use the [...]
