Changing RealVNC 4.5 username alert
What I have found, when researching this issue for myself, is that, in order to see a username other than “anonymous” in RealVNC, you have to change the authentication type on the client side (vnc server side) to use “Windows Password” instead of “VNC Password”.

It doesn’t matter which order the upgrades are done in. The HBA firmware and the PowerPath version aren’t really tied together. Just do them in the same night, especially if while only one is upgraded you aren’t on the support matrix.

Use advanced permissions on the shared folder (the <b>folder </b>permissions, not the share permissions). Remove the Create Folder permission for the group you wish to restrict.
