Enterprise Linux Vs. Microsoft Windows OS – in the Banking Indusrty
It really doesn’t matter. Both OSs will be able to handle the work load just fine. What really matters the most is do you have support staff that can manage the servers.

Hard disk formatting
If you have already set the hard disk drive with only 1 partition, it is not advisable to directly create another partition for that drive because it might affect the entire partition which could lead to total lost of your important files and data.

hard disk failure
First, you have to determine if your hard disk drive failed to function by installing it to another compatible computer system. If you found that it has a problem, you have no option to recover the data inside that failed hard disk drive.

Many thanks – great advice! I didn’t yet experience this type of browser error but I do believe that it is a compatibility issue. It is better to search in google for that particular error.

failure to recognize hard disk over 137gb (500gb)
Is this an older machine? I remember old BIOS problems when hard drives started getting larger. Check with the BIOS manufacturer for an update or the hard drive manufacture for software to help get around this problem. If you are having the problem that I’m thinking of, the basic issue is that the BOIS doesn’t [...]

Windows Server Cluster 2003 or 2008
If node 1 fails and the resources don’t fail over to node 2 then you’ll loose access the SQL Server and the disks (what ever resource fails to move and what ever depends on that resource). It would be very rare for a resource to not move from the failed node to the working node.

The C drive is easily cloned. You can use any number of tool. The HIRENS disc is a good source of tools for this type of application (although vet the source of the ISO as they aren’t all legit. You can double check the MD5). You wouldn’t need much prep to <a href=”http://www.partition-magic.org/res/clone-partition-to-disk.html”>clone partition</a>. The [...]
