How to add a printer in a network?

I’ve a internet connection having IP (123.237.122.222).
there are 7 wifi enabled laptops,one access point and one network printer, printer has not any wifi port, it has only RJ45 port and one usb 2.0 port. every laptop access internet through access point.
but i want to share the printer on IP through switch.
please tell me the step by step configuration of networking.

i am a foxpro 2.6 for dos user. i printed from the software through a net work printer when the os is windows me. now i cant print in xp. i got the windows test page now. but from dos i cant. how is it possible. pls help me

Konica Minolta Bizhub di1610 won’t print on legal paper

I’m not sure if this is the proper forum for this question but I’m out of ideas.

We have a Konica Minolta Bizhub di1610 printer. This printer doesn’t have a built in NIC so we used an Axis Communications Network Print Server connected to the parallel port to get it on the network. It works fine when people print on normal paper, but every time someone tries to print on legal size paper the printer stops working. The print job seems to get stuck in the network print server’s internal queue. No one can print to the printer again until you open a browser, connect to the network print server and restart it (or pull the plug).

I don’t know if it gets stuck because of an issue with the print server, or if it gets stuck because the printer doesn’t like what’s being sent to it. We don’t have the manual for this printer. The Konica website has a manual but it is in Chinese.

I need to know if this is an issue with the printer or with the network print server and how to fix it.

Network printing through OpenVPN

I set up an OpenVPN server in bridged mode – using tap0 – and client
both running CentOS 4.4. The VPN works perfectly, except for printing
from the client LAN – 10.1.2.x/24 to the server LAN – 10.1.1.x/24. I am
using a HP 1320n network printer with IP 10.1.1.100 on the server side.
I can telnet to the printer’s port 80 from anywhere in the client LAN
without a problem. However, trying to telnet to port 9100 results in a
connection refused error. If I telnet the printer’s port 9100 from the
client side VPN server, it connects without a problem. My vpn iptables
rules on both sides look like this:

iptables -A INPUT -p udp –dport 1194 -j ACCEPT
iptables -A INPUT -i tun+ -j ACCEPT
iptables -A OUTPUT -o tun+ -j ACCEPT
iptables -A FORWARD -i tun+ -j ACCEPT

Any ideas on how to fix this?

how do i remove password from printer

Hi, I have problems with our Nashuatec 25000 on > os i was configuring a password, by mistake i Press a wrong unknowngly and the password was activeted, then The device prompt me to loging with Password and user name which i do’nt know it please help how to remove this password?

Windows XP Peer to Peer networked printer troubleshooting

The HP 1505n network printer was installed as a Network printer was successfully completed. Run a test print but did not print. The document failed to print. I have a Windows Peer to Peer network linking 6 computers.

The printer is installed on one local PC with the USB cable share the resources on the network is working fine.

I connect the printer to the hub and setup the printer on the computer is okay but could not print.

Is there any other options that I may follow to make it work?
