QTP gets an IE error

I am running Quick Test Pro v10 with IE 8.0. Durring my automated test run IE throws the error “internet explorer has encountered a problem and needs to close …”

I have disabled all of my Add-ons in IE and have even went into Adobe Reader and turned off Edit->Preferences->Internet->Display PDF in browser.

But, I cant seem to get the error message to go away.

Doies anyone have a solution?

My computer has started showing a bar acrose the top of page when i punch up peoples profile, when playing games.It does not do it all the time ,it’s worse than a pop up. The bar reads, Internet explorer has modified this page to help prevent cross-site scripting.

Connected to our network but no Internet access

I have a user and she is on our network and she is in a remote site. She has windows XP Pro she can connect to our home office. We have a VIOP CISCO phone system, there is a MPLS circuit that we use to communicate with each of our offices, She can access our exchange server and all of our file servers. She can do a remote desktop to our accounting server but when she tries to open the Internet it says cannot display this page. I have done a /release and /renew and that does not work i have replaced her IE8 and that seems not to work i have given her a static IP address and that does not work, I have logged into her machine using a different profile and that does not work i have scanned her computer for Virus’s, Maleware and Spyware and it finds nothing. Can someone please help me with this???!!!!!

I was wondering if anyone else has been having trouble with IE9. A lot lately when I clicking tabs within a page i get an error message saying that IE has stopped working. If you choose “close the program” it does not close all of IE just the link I was going to and brings me back to the past page. SSometimes the only way to get where I want to go is to open it as a new tab (IE tab) or Window. Is this sometime on my computer or something with the new IE?
