Office 2003 Upgrade/File "Send To" problem

I am upgrading Office 97 clients to Office 2003. We use Lotus Notes 6.5.3 email client. The "send to Email recipient" from eg word is now trying to call Outlook instead of notes. Notes has been set as the default client via IE and notes itself. Must be another registry entry somewhere... any ideas?
