after using Excel 2007 for several months with no problem, I had to reformat and reload windows xp professional. then I installed Excel 2007 and now I can’t open the xlsx files created by Excel 2007. I get the error in the above title box. Any help will be welcomed. Gervis.

Microsoft Excel hyperlinks to Lotus Notes
I created a hyperlink in MS Excel to an E-mail address (I use Lotus Notes). When I follow, the email is created with the correct subjsct line however the text line is blank i.e., simply not there, even though it appears in the “text to appear” diologus box. Does anyone know why this is?

After upgrading our laptops from Office 2003 to Office 2007 somehow the permissions in the IFS have changed and certain groups can no longer save Excel documents with system i data. They get a “cannot save” message. Any idea where to look? Netserver etc.?

When I import data from MS Excel v2003 into MS ACCESS v97, some of the data converts (numbers) converts to scientific form (4268411 converts to 4.26841e+006) even though I specify that the column format is text. How can I stop this from happening?
