Setting up a modem for remote access

We want to setup a modem connection into one of our member servers so that we can still connect in the case of failure of our primary and secondary Internet lines. How can we set this up so we can dial in and access remote desktop?

Who deleted all the files in Windows 2003 Member Server share?

How can I tell who deleted all the files in one of my shares on a windows 2003 member server? We are running Active Directory 2003 as well and do not have auditing enabled.

I have a member server that is running very slowly – slow to log on, slow to access shared files from clients, and won’t connect to internet. After reviewing the event log, I have discovered these errors:

I’ve tried to Google the errors and they seem related, but I don’t know how to resolve them. Any help would be appreciated.

Domain Controller or Member Server for Exchange 2007

Does Exchange 2007 have to be installed on a domain controller can it just be a member server? Is there a preference?

IP Address reverting back to old address

I have changed the IP address on one of my member servers every hour but it
reverts back to an old address. I have 4 DC’s and they are the
only DNS machines in my network. I have tried each DC separately buy still have the same issue. Any help

Print without pasword

My qustion is I hav a print device whch is atached with Member Svr & M-Svr is a part of a domain, when I print the document from the workgrup PC, evrytim its prompt for a pasword. Is there any method it prompt me for a pasword only 1st time not again & again.

Adding member server 2003 to server 2000 Domain Controller

I am attempting to add several member servers w/2003 OS to a 2000 OS Domain Controller.
The DC sees the new servers but access to objects coming from or going to the new servers is not allowed. This is using the Local Admin profile depending what server I am on.
I must be missing some setup procedure but I welcome some advice on this matter.

I have lost a server2003 from the domain, the background apps are still applying but no network connection,
Any solutions?,

I have reset member server from AD, this now allows me to Ping with reply.
9 servers on the Domain, 2 domain controllers, if everything is shutdown and the member server booted first it logs onto the domain, when the Domain controller is started I then lose network connectivity.

next step possibly to remove and reinstall from Domain, question is How do you do this (go into AD remove, then re-install. what if it still doesn’t see the Sevrer)

Any help please, I am by myself as my colleague has left.
