  • McAfee Antivirus Error Message

I am getting error: McAfee Common Framework returned error fffff95b @ 2 from my McAfee on one of my domain desktops. What does it mean and how can I fix it? We have McAfee 8.7.1 with several patches. I can't update these machines.

  • Adding domain to EPO server

We have about 50 computers that already have Macfee 8.7 on them. We just installed an EPO server to manage all of our antvirus clients. How can we add the existing computers and the rest of the domain to the EPO server?

  • Can McAfee 8.7 not recognize the threat EPO server is warning about?

Why does my EPO server tell me sometimes that it has found a threat but could not do anything about it? Mcafee 8.7 on the desktop. If it can identify the virus and see the files why can it not fix or quarantine it?

  • Ensuring all Windows clients have updated antivirus

Is there a way to make sure that all windows clients have up to date antivirus (mcafee 8.7.1) and if not make sure they can not access the Internet at all. It can set their proxy to a fake server if need be.

  • Corporate spyware prevention

What is the best corporate spyware prevention method? Software or hardware and what would you recommend for a 40-person all Windows XP shop? We have McAfee 8.7.1 with the spyware module but we are still contracting viruses and Trojans on a daily basis. Any suggestions?
