I have a workgroup of about 10 clients working from a shared folder. When it was set up the credentials were entered (using connect with different credentials) to map the folder to each PC successfully. We are now getting the pop up window sporadically asking to re-authenticate to the drive. The host is a Windows 7 pc with XP/7 as the clients. How can I fix this situation so each pc will STAY mapped?[o:p][/o:p]

Hello all,
I have a weird issue with my company’s VPN. we are using cisco vpn via ASA firewall. When people login into VPN and want to browse our main shared drive, some of then get not a full list of folders. This issue seems to be with more or less the same group of people, but I am not convinced that others are not reporting it to me.
Maybe anyone has done more thorough research on this and managed to fix this, as it seems that there is nothing on the web about this issue.

[html xmlns="">
Hello all.
I have an unusual problem. Here is the situation.
We have a head office domain with file servers based here in New Zealand. We also have a remote server at our Melbourne, Australia office. We use file sync software to mirror different folders to the remote server so that the Melbourne office has local file access rather than coming across the wire to New Zealand.
One of the users has a laptop he uses from home. He connects back to our head office firewall via IPSEC VPN.
The problem is this: He can access mapped network drives if they map to the source server in New Zealand but mappings that point to his local "mirror" server in Melbourne do not work. I have tried it on different laptops, through different internet connections.
The remote server is a DNS/WINS server plus we have DNS/WINS servers here in New Zealand.
What could be causing him to not be able to connect to his local derver mappings?
Thanks
Tracy
