Outlook 2007, Error sending from shared mailbox

A shared mailbox for a team of people, we’re having trouble with user permissions. Some can send mail from the shared folder, other’s cannot. One person is managing user permissions. What is proper setting for all users to have full control of the mailbox?

Shared Outlook 2007 Mailbox + Rule Sets

I have a shared mailbox with about 20 people. We would like all items that go into the inbox to be sorted into folders based on their subjects. I can do this for my personal email box, but cannot figure out how to apply the rules to this shared box. When I create a rule, it says “client-only.” Can someone please help me out?

(We are uysing Outlook 2007).

I have set mailbox size limits for individual users. I then set default storage limits for the database. Shortly after applying the default limits I got a call telling me that e-mail was being rejected because the receivers mailbox was full. The users mailbox was only half full. When I removed the default quotas this person could receive mail again. I have verified that this user is not exceeding her limits. Here is an example. I set this users limits to Issue warning at 400MB, Prohibit send at 500MB, Prohibit send and receive at 600MB. I then set the default settings to 100, 200 and 300MB respectfully. Shortly after I applied these settings I got the phone call.
Needless to say I am a little nervous about reapplying these setting. Any ideas?

Exchange 2003 mailbox move

I created (On a separate drive on the same server) a New Group, Store, and moved a couple mailboxes. I did this because my primary drive only has 2.75Gb left. I moved 3 boxes totalling 8Gb. On the new drive, it showed that I now occupy 8Gb of that drive with Exchange data. However, on the old drive, after moving the mailboxes it didn’t increase my size by 8Gb?? The boxes are showing in the new store and likewise the data appears on the new drive…

Any help would be GREATLY appeciated before my server crashes.

Can not move mailbox by Exchange Task!

I have 1 forest(1 root DC,2 child DC) and each child DC have one exchange server. Exchange server is exchange 2003. I’m use old image file on vmware all of 5 server. I meet problem can’t replicate but I solve by use registry. Now I try to move one mailbox from one exchange server to another but when I’m go inside to exchange task, listbox serrver and mailbox store is disable. I can’t move mailbox. Any suggestion is appreciate!

I need to implemet the shared mailbox solution for the work requiremtns. My concern is if its possible to track which user of the users who already have Send As permission to that shared mailbox, has sent actually the email.
Is is possible? And HOW?

External mails getting stuck in the local queue

Hey,
This is strange problem we are facing occasionally.Sometimes our external mails get stuck in our queue and the mails will not be delivered to the user mailbox.The internal mails will work fine.Then once we restart the frontend all the mails will get delivered and the queue will be cleared.

It is happening with us from last few days occasionally. Im not able to find the exact reason for this problem .

So, please help me to solve this issue..
