Lotus webmail Problem

There is a user who is able to login into his mail file using two passwords. One password is what i have given to it now and which gets displayed in person document of the user , the other one is a password which the server has stored somewhere in its cache i think.

To check the problem, I deleted the person document of the user and then tried to login in the webmail, instead of giving an error straightaway, it logged into the account and gave error only when it didn’t found the mail file. Please help. Is this related to corruption of names.nsf…? are there two person document for the user…?what is the issue.?

Print Error in lotus webmail

i am using domino 8.5.1 with fixpack 5. i have 500 users on domain. Domain is stircked so some problem comes . rite now i am having problem with printing. when i access my webmail from internet explorer 6,7,8 i got my mails sucessfully but when i want to print it from print button its show error which is given below
“An Lotus iNotes script error has occurred that might result in missing data
within the current page. If your current operation did not complete, click OK,
and then refresh your browser display.”

Hi:

I tried to create a simple web application on my PC( Local Mechine), i have placed the database in Data Directory only (Under Notes/data/.. folder) but even though I am getting “Page can not be displayed” Error when i tried to Preview the Form in Web.

Please help me – If there are any settings i need to check.

domino R5 with AIX 3.4 Backups Issue

Hi,

Our application is a Lotus Domino Web based application running on AIX V3.4 and it is a very highly critical system whcih used to exchange the information with the Mainframe system.
There are no backups scheduled for this system with no dev/uat servers.

Even the IBM informed us, that this server is out of support.The NetBackup and TSM Team cannot do the backups because of lower versions of Domino and AIX.

Can you please let me know

1.Is there any easy way to enable backups for this system?
2.Is there any easy way to prevent server crashes and databases corruption?
3.Is there any way to improve the server performance?

Clicking ‘save’ Notes Web application creates duplicate copy

We have a Web-based application in Lotus Notes. I have created a new form to add some details. When I click on the “save” button, sometimes a duplicate copy of the same document gets created. How can I avoid this?

I am working on a Lotus Notes Web Application.
I have a search page where the user enters the search criteria and clicks on search.
then the results page is displayed with all the search criteria in the URL.
I donot want this data to be displayed in the Page URL. Kindly help.
