We use a designed signature created in word saved as a html file the uploaded into Lotus. Problem…one user when I upload it…it keeps double spacing. It is not ds in the word file or in the html doc. The DS comes from Lotus under text properties found under the above spacing, nothing is set there. I don’t know how to set that as single spacing and make it the default for the user/program. Any suggestions? I have reinstalled lotus. I have not found this issue anywhere else! No luck searching the net. i have created a default paragraph style but had no luck getting that to work as a default that applied to all emails. I am SOL. Can anyone in cyberspace help me?

Technical Support Specialist out of support ideas…

We had v6.5.5 and had signature files created. Recently we had to move to 6.5.4 on our laptops and now it wont read the signature file properly. Even when we change the font it wont change and it has inserted spaces where before, with the same file, there were none. I’ve tried to edit the HTM file in Notepad but unless I change from Styles to the <font> command I cant change the text size – and even with the font command it wont keep the correct face.
I’ve even tried to recreate the file again on my current PC but nothing is working. Any ideas?

The company I work for recently converted employees to Outlook mail (v2003). My team uses a lotus notes (v6.5.4) application for processing work requests. Basically, the flow is as follows: when a new work request is created, my team receives an email notification with a link to the request. Using the link, we access the request and rule on it (approve or reject) by clicking a button. Once the ruling is made, the lotus notes application automatically sends an email to the next group of reviewers. This automatic email is working for everyone on my team but one person. Is there some Outlook setting or Notes setting that may be different for this person than the rest of us?

Hi
Is there an easy way to do a Lotus Notes version upgrade, or do you have to do a new install, like creating a new user ? Anyone knows if the local databases created in 6.5 will be lost and have to be recreated, when an upgrade to 6.5.4 is taking place ?
I hope an upgrade can we done, similar to a windows update, where you just “add” the changes.
Thank you in advance.
