Displaying items and prices in view

Application buttons are not able to display in inotes
When I try to open application developed from lotus clients in inotes, many of the action buttons cannot be seen. Only Instruction (plain text) button is displayed. May i know why is this so? No hidden formula for the buttons. Thanks
