Using Lotus 123 Version 9.6

This is mostly an annoying thing rather than disastrous but still frustrating.
In using 123 files and saving them as wk4 files, the cursor sticks in the position where the file is saved. When I open a worksheet and the cursor is at the bottom (or anywhere) hitting the {home} key and/or the {ctrl}{home} key does not move the cursor, BUT if I first hit the {esc} key then the {home} key will work. I am using lotus 123 version 9.6 and have been using this program for years with no problem, but ever since I got a virus and had to have my hard drive formatted and then re-installed 123 has this come up. I do not have this problem with any other program in moving around files, worksheets or wherever. Another symptom is that in a file with 5 or 6 worksheets, this problem may occur in only one or two of the worksheets and then work just fine in the others. I have tried changing keyboards and the correct drivers for same with zero results. Like I say, it is not life threatening but inability to use the keyboard navigation keys does get annoying.
