Hi. I want to set up an Archive that 4 people can all use as a shared document store. I believe that I know of two issues:- 1) Only one person could access the Archive at any one time. 2) If archiving a folder structure the 4 individuals must have uniquely named folders, if not then one can over-write the other resulting in documents being deleted. Is there anything else that I should consider? Has anybody else set up an Archive for a small group of people?

Hi.

We have a very large database wich control a document approval workflow, filled by hundreds of forms, views and attachments.

We have noticed, by the fact of the size of the database affects considerably on performance, and wants to take an approach similar to mail archiving. Dispose old documents (not used in about 6 months?) in another database (archive one) but, to have te choice of restore this documents as soon as it is required by the application. (Today’s authorization, depends on the comparative analisys of all the requirements made by a client, so, all his history must be revisited.)

Hopefully, this must be done transparent to the final user. This can be done? maybe using a third party app?

Please, any advice will be great. (sorry for my english)

We have a shared Lotus iNotes 8.5.1 email account that is constantly running out of space. We need to save our incoming emails and currently do so by managing them into folders that are created week by week. Is there a way to keep these folders and continue to access the emails etc within them but remove them from the lotus notes account by export or archiving etc? We get a large number of emails each week and need a long retention period for these filed emails.
