Agents Are Not Included in Database Copy

If I have a database that has agents with restricted access (set on the Agent Properties > Security tab) and I make a copy of the database for use as a template, the restricted agents are not included in the copy. When I make the copy, I choose the options for Database Design Only and Access Control List. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong so that I don’t get these restricted agents? This occurs whether I am using Notes 6.5.6 client or 8.0.2, so I don’t think it is a version issue.

Have a subform that I am trying to set the value of Tax based on a plant field and useage. If the Plant is 3 then tax is 5% for everthing. If Plant is 1 or 2 then tax is 7% on non production and 0% on production.

Here is the code for the Tax field.

TCPIP stack error in lotus notes

I am getting TCP IP stack ran out of memory msg while accessing emails in Lotus notes. Then I need to restart the system bcoz, i cannot proceed on with lotus notes.

sending an email from a lotus notes application using outlook

The company I work for recently converted employees to Outlook mail (v2003). My team uses a lotus notes (v6.5.4) application for processing work requests. Basically, the flow is as follows: when a new work request is created, my team receives an email notification with a link to the request. Using the link, we access the request and rule on it (approve or reject) by clicking a button. Once the ruling is made, the lotus notes application automatically sends an email to the next group of reviewers. This automatic email is working for everyone on my team but one person. Is there some Outlook setting or Notes setting that may be different for this person than the rest of us?

Saving an email outside of Lotus Notes

I have Lotus Notes 6.5. I keep folders on my network drive, usually labeled by subject/project. When I had Outlook, I was accustomed to saving the emails outside of Outlook to the relevant subject/ project folder. Does anyone know if this is possible in Lotus Notes?

Error opening Word attachments

We’ve had a couple of users experience issues with opening Word attachments. They get an “invalid document” error…we’re using mostly 6.5.4, with a few users still running 6.5.2. Please help if you can!

using Lotus Notes 6.5. Having an issue with my Lotus Notes email. An email in a “read” status in changing to “unread” after I forward or reply to the email. It would make sense to me that the email stays “read” even if I forward or reply. Please help to change this. Thank you

I have a user that had a very large mail file. I deleted alot of her mail. I ran a fixup and compact on it and the mail file has not gotten smaller at all. We have no restrictions on the size of our mail files. We are running it on an AS/400. We are running 6.5. Her mail file size is still saying 4.5G.
