Impact of Transaction logging on Windows Server 2003

I have 4 mail servers that all backup to one other server. The backup has started taking a very long time to run so I have been asked to look into enabling transaction logging on that particular server. Can anybody advise the pros and cons of doing this on such a server please? Will this actually benefit the backup process?

How to display Domino form field on the web

I have a text field which it’s string value has been separated by semicolon and displayed by new line. I want to display this field on the web the same way it displays in Notes. On the web the content of the field display as one block of 100 line with not break in read mode. Is there a way to display each element of the text up to semicolon on one line in the read mode?

Lotus Domino: Display a document from another database on the web through type a head search field

I have two databases A and B both are web enabled. On the menu of db A database I have a field called search that has type a head features. I can search and find the tite to display from db B but since the document is in the db B I am not able to display it. I don’t want to copy all documents from db A to db B. Is there a way to display the document? Also I need to say that I don’t want to use @picklist because it doesn’t work with the search part. I have a copy of the form that documents have been created with in the db A. Any suggestions or feedback would be appreciated.

Remove Notes calendar icon and month links for web apps,notes

In a Domino web application I am using Lotus Notes version 7.02 calendar view.

Domino display month and calendar links at the top of the view and pages. I couldn’t find the link in the view or in the page. How can I remove the link for month and calendar icon. These links doesn’t work and take additional lines that I want to remove. Any help greately appreciated.

A new invitee to a current Calendar Meeting receives the invite as already accepted – why?

I have a situation with a PA who handles 3 or 4 different Executive Calendars. She had a recent situation where she added Person A to a current ‘repeat’ monthly meeting for one of her Managers. She is using V7.02 Domino Client. The following is happening:

When the PersonA is added as an additional invitee, she clicks on ‘save and send invitations’ and then receives the ‘Change Repeating Entry’ prompt. She chooses the ‘This instance and all future instances’ and clicks on OK.
However the invite does not automatically close, it stays open and she is not able to view the PersonA in the list of invitees.
PersonA receives the invite as already approved/confirmed in their INBOX (under Preferences, they do not have ‘autoprocessing’ of meeting invites enabled. The meeting invite is also appearing in their Calendar.
If the PA later decides to remove PersonA from the meeting, she cannot as they are not listed in the attendees list
She advised that this person had never been invited to this meeting previously (and then removed).
She then tested it with me and I got the same thing (ie the booking appeared confirmed/accepted in my inbox and it was appearing in my Calendar).

Has the booking become corrupt? Will she need to create this again?

Domino report regarding undelivered messages

AdminP problem causing Lotus Domino 7.0.2 server to hang

I keep receiving AdminP “abnormally terminated” errors on my Lotus Domino 7.0.2 server console. Due to this problem, the server keeps either hanging or getting stuck in the middle of working. I then have to restart it in order for it to begin working again. Can anyone suggest what might be wrong and what I should do to combat this issue?
