After Move to new certificate unread count is different.

I moved some of users to new certificate and after done the all unread count of mail file was changed. i check all the things mail file belong to ACL and unread -, dont maintain unread mails.

Anybody have faced this issue.?

Mail Journaling Issue in Lotus Domino

I have enabled mail journalling on two servers in our environment. Now every message which is sent to an id where some forwarding rule is enabled, the message is being journaled more than one time. I think this is happening because those rule are forwarding the mail arriving on that id to many other users which are present on both the servers. I have used some parameters in notes.ini to limit this when i had enabled journalling on single server which worked actually. But ever since i have enabled journalling on both the servers, this problem has again come.i don’t know how to limit this. please help

Lotus webmail Problem

There is a user who is able to login into his mail file using two passwords. One password is what i have given to it now and which gets displayed in person document of the user , the other one is a password which the server has stored somewhere in its cache i think.

To check the problem, I deleted the person document of the user and then tried to login in the webmail, instead of giving an error straightaway, it logged into the account and gave error only when it didn’t found the mail file. Please help. Is this related to corruption of names.nsf…? are there two person document for the user…?what is the issue.?

Is there any limit for a number of id’s when creating server mail rules. Actually we have to enable mail journalling for 200-300 users and for that we have to create a mail rule on server. Is that possible.?will the mail rule work properly?

I made a ind file on window based domino 8.5 server to run compact -B program late night. but after compact run on 6-7 mail file giving the error Database compactor error: Attempted encryption operation is not supported by this version of Notes.

anybody will suggest me.

If I am going to upgrading lotus domino from 8.5.0 to 8.5.2… what kind of thing i have keep in mind before upgrading.

Has anyone seen a weird behavior when a database has been open for an extended amount of time and when you finish fillling out a form and click save a message appears stating Frameset *** does not exist? I have multiple databases that this is happening in and want to know why. It’s almost like after a while the form looses association with the frameset.

Unable to authenticate with Lotus Sametime from Webmail

Hello I have an issue with Lotus Sametime. When accessing the web mail, I can not authenticate in lotus sametime and only reported: “MI has failed.” Clarified that the mail server and Lotus Sametime are in the same Domino domain. The mail server is in version 8.5.1 of Lotus Domino and Sametime in 8.02 FP1 also lotus domino. The installed version of lotus sametime is 7.5

Lotus Traveler: Error Sending Mail

Hello, I have a problem when a send a email from Lotus Traveler. I have a mail return: “Error transferring to SMTPAUTH.ORANGE.FR; SMTP Protocol Returned a Permanent Error 550 5.7.1 : Sender address rejected: Please use user@domain address forms only.” And in the domino console, i have this message: “16/03/2010 10:09:58 Router: Error transferring message 00325941 via SMTP to SMTPAUTH.ORANGE.FR 550 5.7.1 : Sender address rejected: Please use user@domain address forms only.” But in the names.nsf, the administrator’s name is administrateur@xxx17.fr and i have no problem to send mail from lotus notes or webmail. I have this problem with all my traveler users. If someone can help me? Thanks Renald

Lotus Domino in a workgroup

We recently purchased Lotus Domino and installed the server on a workgroup. We are able send email out but not receive it and the following error message inexplicably shows up:

“Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
fmc_admin/FMC@fmungereza.co.ug
Technical details of permanent failure:
The recipient server did not accept our requests to connect. Learn more at http://mail.google.com/support/bin/answer.py?answer=7720
[Server1.fmungereza.co.ug. (10): Connection timed out]”

Is it possible to set up Lotus in a workgroup? The company has a few computers so their domain is actually WORKGROUP.
