Logon Failures with user name (backslash)

I’m looking for clues why a Win2k3 server log indicates very frequent logon failures with the user name … yes, that is a backslash as the only character in the user name.

Hi All,

We recently had a power failiure during our daily backup procedure (Yes outlasted our 30 min emergency ups) This inadvertantly caused the back to fail, now every time we try to log in we have message that sates “end of day processing please try later” then we come back to log in screen.

I can log in as QSECOFR and QSYSOPR also the account that initiated the backup (Only on console A0) all other users receive the message. I have ended all the jobs that relate to the backup using WRKACTJOB command, but still receive the message.

I read on a forum that you can run ENDSBS *ALL and then do system restart which might remove the system locks.

I am only keeping the system running for Historical data and the company has now moved to SAGE so as soon as I gain access will end the scheduled backup tasks.

Can anyone help with my problem, I’m a noob so would appreciate as much help as possible.

Automatically log off when I login in my Windows Server 2003

two days before my windows wsa working fine. but when today i try to restart my machine and try to log in its seems to be loging in and suddenlty it going to log off even its not going to the desktop even. im unable to do anything please can anyone help me with this ????

Login Failure on Disconnected Domain Controllers

I have a WAN with 6 domain controllers connected to a center domain server with all the roles on this server.When ever there is a break on the WAN the domain controllers administrators report of not been able to login to the branch domain controllers server with there account or the domain adminstrative account. what is the cause and solution?

Sametime will not auto logon

Lotus Notes does auto logon just fine, and SameTime launches, but will not logon unless I click on the logon button.

The target account name is incorrect
