Screensaver lockup in Ubuntu 8.04
I’m running a desktop windows XP machine. I installed Ubuntu 7.10 and created a dual boot, works like a charm. Then I upgraded to 8.04, still working great except in the Gnome desktop when the screensaver comes on it locks the computer down complete. Reboot is the only salvation. What’s the answer?

Network location cannot be reached
I have linux shared folder which can be seen from all other PC except this one PC only. My IP and Gateway seems all be okay. This PC has a multilanguage installed (Japannesse). Trying to access network by typing \10.217.1.29 which is my linux server. I got this error ‘The Network Location cannot be reached.’

Any way to view all C: drive files by size?
I’m looking for a way to recursively list all files on a Windows XP C: drive and sort them by size, similar to what you’d do with “ls -R” in Unix. Is there any way to do this?
