Ok, a real AS/400 novice here about to train a printer maintenance class
Why is it AS/400, other than being an IBM brain child, does not work well with HP Laser printers? I may have a Lexmark (T-640/C510/E250/Multi 642) class that I may have to answer certain questions during this maintenance repair class. The client is using all Lexmark printers with AS/400.

Lexmark E323 off an iSeries 720
My Lexmark E323 won’t print off the AS400 even though in the out queue it goes into the writing status after responding “G” in qsysopr. Seems like the output disappears into thin air. Any ideas on what is going on? The printer is on a wired network. It will print from the user’s window environment [...]
