• How to use a Wifi which is 70 feet away.

I have a lan connection, with a wifi. The wifi connection is on a different room about 70 ft away. The desktop has the LAN connection. Now If I take my laptop to the place near this desktop, I am unable to use the WIFI. What should I do to use it as WIFI, without purchasing a router.
