I have just purchased a Konica ProC500 which is second hand but has had all PM kits added plus new dev. The problem is not the image itself its the amount of toner it is adding to the paper. I have tried all settings and at my wits end and so is the engineer. The copier is creating the right colour its just not adding enough toner in my opinion (Even though the engineer believes its the age of the printer) I know that this printer is capable of a quality image and even 10 years ago you could get a printer which would create a solid colour. Please, please help?

I’m not sure if this is the proper forum for this question but I’m out of ideas.

We have a Konica Minolta Bizhub di1610 printer. This printer doesn’t have a built in NIC so we used an Axis Communications Network Print Server connected to the parallel port to get it on the network. It works fine when people print on normal paper, but every time someone tries to print on legal size paper the printer stops working. The print job seems to get stuck in the network print server’s internal queue. No one can print to the printer again until you open a browser, connect to the network print server and restart it (or pull the plug).

I don’t know if it gets stuck because of an issue with the print server, or if it gets stuck because the printer doesn’t like what’s being sent to it. We don’t have the manual for this printer. The Konica website has a manual but it is in Chinese.

I need to know if this is an issue with the printer or with the network print server and how to fix it.

Thank you.
