  • Question about Journaling on Exchange 2010

If a user is connected to their own mailbox, but has the ability to send on behalf of another. When they send email on behalf of that other mailbox, is that activity captured in the journal of their mailbox or the journal of the mailbox they are sending on behalf of?

  • Journalling – why the SAVCHGOBJ?

We need to turn on journalling to allow a backward recovery if a big batch job goes wrong. Do I still need to do the SAVCHGOBJ before starting the journalling in order for the restore to work or is that just for forward recovery? I still don't understand the need for it....
