Connect JasperServer and Sql 2008

i tired these steps :
# Download the Microsoft JDBC driver: Microsoft SQL Server JDBC Driver
# Extract to a good location. I chose c:program files to extract to.
# Copy the sqljdbc4.jar to your installation directory which by default is:
c:program filesjasperserver-pro-3.5.1apache-tomcatwebappsjasperserver-proWEB-INFlib
# Restart JasperServer (there is a shortcut in the start menu to restart it).
# Log into JasperServer’s web site. http://YourServer:8080/jasperserver-pro
# Go to View | Repository.
# Click the second icon called Add Resource and select Data Source.
# Choose JDBC Data Source and click next.
# Provide any Name, Label, and Description.
# For the driver put this:
com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver
# For the URL put this:
jdbc:sqlserver://ServerName:1433:databaseName=MyDatabase;
# Enter the username and password.
# Select a time zone.
# Click Test and it should succeed./reporting/jaspersoft/
But Connection test failed? ANyone can help me?

We are looking to integrate Jasper reporting tool with EMC Documentum. I had searched for the information on integration but didn’t found any. Could anyone help me on this. (Any PDF/document/URL link)

jasper ad-hoc report takes more time

problem is that jasper ad-hoc reports take more time how to resduse it ,some time it take less time but some time it takes more than expected what is the solution of that .
If may be any problem please tell me as soon as possible.

Hi Gurus
i have a problem in MYSql Query Browwser

there is a table “jiuser” in “jasperserver” database. this table has a column “username”. there is another table ” jiresourcefolder” in the “jasperserver” database. this table has a column “uri”.

now i wana find out which user can access which uri. how to find it out.

please help….
