Performance files to Excel

I know how to run performace tools on Iseries but how can I download the Iseries performance files into Excel and create a graph on the data? Thanks Software/Hardware used: Iseries 9406 - 595

General question about Database Performance Management Software

I was just told that Database Performance Management Software apps are always stand-alone applications. That doesn't seem right to me. Are DPMS tools always stand-alone?
