Query against User Profiles

I was trying to omit some of the user profiles,which generally starts with KMAN*,TMAN*,CMAN* from the list of all user profiles (DSPUSRPRF USRPRF(*ALL) TYPE(*BASIC) OUTPUT(*OUTFILE).

I’m querying this against to a outfile,i was able to select the columns what i want,but i couln’t find option/feature to omit certain user profiles which start generally with common words(KMAN*,TMAN*,CMAN*)

WRKQRY is the one i’m using for that..

If anyone has some idea/thoughts on this,Pls share it with me I will try to do it

STRPCCMD leaves pop-up open

How can I stop the STRPCCMD from leaving the pop-up window open? I’m using the PAUSE(*NO) parm in my CL program and it still leaves the pop-up on the screen.

Retrieving package for V6R1

Hi, I have trying hard to retrieve the CUM package for V6R1..I have tried every way I did FTP from OS400 and after 300 MB download of first CUM file it got ended with message TCP/IP unable to receive data, other 2 ptf images were retrived successfully. I have tried to download onmy PC but again it was stuck on fisr file at 300 MB…I tried to ordered again n follow the same steps. but didn’t work. I used different IP also.

Parm Value Changed on Dynamic Call in free

I have a prototype in my free program to call an external program. The parms on my prototype include two fields that are defined as 2S 0. The value of these two fields are 00 and 01 at the time of the call tothe prototype. Using debug, I step into the program being called and the value of these two variables have changed when I look at the entry list in that program. The called program is not written in free. I have tried this call with and without the CONST keyword. How can I keep this from happening?

How do I save the security settings created in operations navigator?

In operations navigator V6R1 I use Application Administrator to give users access to FTP, ODBC, File Uploads and Downloads etc… I would like to save these settings on a weekly basis. What do I need to save? Also, I have a backup system that I am replicating to. How can I replicate these security settings to the backup machine?
