How is IPv6 more secure over IPv4? If we are translating IPv6 to IPv4 can their be security ramifications?

i work as a network assistant for a research lab in a large company. The research lab includes six computers for which central computing services have located the address space 172.16.1.0/29.i know plan to add 10 new computers to the research network.company policy states that each network is granted address space only according to itsneeds.which network address pattern would i use to install the 10 new computers?
