Lost Connections

I am having problems with some machines losing their internet connections. I do a ipconfig release and renew and everything is fine. The odd thing is after a couple of weeks, the problem goes away. Where should I start looking to find the cause of this issue?

I have a network with one range of IPs (10.122.244.1 to 10.122.244.254), and I am runing out of IP's wich the best way to increase the range with out use the superscope.
