It is configured to Pull from the encoder. I start the encoder it works fine I can connect directly to the encoder with Media player and it is OK. I start the publishing point on the server and it connects initially to the encoder and all seemss well. Then about 10 -30 minutes into the broadcast I lose connectivity. I open up a command prompt and try to ping the encoder and it times out. I try to ping the server from the encoder computer it also times out. I ping another address ( the rrouter in this case) and it returns with no errors on both computers. After doing this I am able to ping each other now and the server can connect to the encoder again until it stops again. Both computers server and encoder are on the same subnet and on the same switch. both computers are located in the same room for testing. Firewalls on both disabled for this test. Any body seen this behavior?
